Playables is a new beta feature on YouTube that lets users play entertaining minigames right off the homepage.
Soon, YouTube’s homepage will have a selection of minigames that users may play to pass the time. Don’t expect a full-fledged gaming experience, but it will be a fun way to kill a few minutes.
The ‘Playables’ feature, which allows users to play video games directly from the YouTube app, is apparently in testing. A separate tab on the YouTube mobile app and desktop website’s main page provides access to the functionality, which is reserved for a chosen few people.
Though users have yet to see a list of published titles, the news outlet 9to5Google has singled out one game, Stack Bounce. It’s an arcade-style game where players click at the right times to direct a ball through a series of rings.
