A “REDESIGNED” AD SKIP BUTTON is reportedly being tested by YouTube. It is smaller in size, making it harder for users to see and click on.
Ads on YouTube that you detest? Well, be ready because, following a clever little upgrade that YouTube may soon announce, you are going to detest them even more.
According to YouTube, a “redesign” of the skip advertising button is presently in the works, and it will result in an even smaller button. In addition to being smaller, the skip advertising button will be more transparent, have smaller writing, and not use capital letters in the word “Ads.” This will make it more difficult to miss and, in turn, encourage viewers to watch ads for longer periods of time, which will boost YouTube’s ad revenue.
Is this a tiny enough sample of what the skip advertising button could look like?

Regarding the “improved” Skip Ads button, YouTube said in a statement, “Our goal is to provide a more consistent user experience in line with the updated look and feel on YouTube we announced last year.”
Referred to as a “better” skip advertisements button, it will undoubtedly be a success for YouTube, expanding the platform’s reach, ad view rates, and conversions as well as generating more cash overall and piqueing the interest of advertisers.
“This minuscule ‘Skip advertisements’ option caught my eye; it seems Google is testing this new feature.” It is far smaller than the typical “skip” box and has a novel format. The view rate and campaign budget will be impacted if this is implemented, according to Google Ads specialist Thomas Eccel.
The smaller skip advertising button is undoubtedly being tested by Google, but we are unsure when the function will be made available to the general public. When it happens, we can be sure it will cause a stir.
